Duties

• Take the time to learn about each patient's unique illnesses, medications, and treatments by carefully studying their records. By doing so, you can provide personalized care that meets their specific needs.
• Treat every patient with respect, kindness, and dignity. Always keep their information private, and ensure that they feel comfortable and supported during their stay.
• Assist nurses in providing routine care to patients, which can include tasks such as taking vital signs, changing dressings, and monitoring their condition.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by speaking with patients, family members, and employees. By working together, you can create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that promotes healing and recovery.
• Inform medical professionals about any limitations or changes in a patient's physical, emotional, mental, or social condition. This will help ensure that they receive the appropriate care and treatment.
• Keep an eye out for any changes in a patient's condition, and report them right away to a qualified nurse or supervisor. By being vigilant and proactive, you can help prevent potential complications and ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
• Assist patients with necessary daily tasks, such as oral hygiene, toileting, grooming, bathing, and personal hygiene. By doing so, you can help them maintain their dignity and independence, while also promoting their overall well-being.
• Aid in the delivery of medicine and therapy, ensuring that patients receive the right medications and treatments at the right time. By working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, you can help improve patient outcomes and promote healing.

Qualifications

• Professional attitude and demeanor
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• The ability to meet the physical and emotional needs of the client
• Ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged
