Spring Arbor is Hiring an Assistant Resident Care Coordinator - Med Tech Near Williamsburg, VA

Spring Arbor Senior Living of Williamsburg, VA is seeking a full time Assistant Resident Care Coordinator to join our team. The Assistant Resident Care Coordinator is under the direction of and assists the Resident Care Director with scheduling, supervising nursing department, and coordinating services to residents. This individual must be at least 21 years of age and present a professional appearance and demeanor, possess strong oral and verbal skills and be dependable, organized and methodical. The ability to manage team processes and promote a team environment are a must.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • MedTech/RMA certification required
  • Experience or training in an equivalent setting preferred
  • General understanding of and concern for the needs of seniors

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

  • Audit Medication Administration Reports; notify pharmacy of changes
  • Develop and implement resident care plans to meet the needs of residents
  • Work every other weekend as med tech / supervisor-in-charge
  • Coordinate resident care service and consult with families and physicians to do so
  • Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals regarding residents' medication, treatments and therapies
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers and incontinence care
  • Manage and complete scheduling of resident care staff
