Job Overview:

We are looking to hire a part time, assistant Esports coach to help run our program at SAU. This position could be remote for the right individual, but a hybrid solution would be preferred. This person should have a strong faith, as our mission to lead and live like Christ is a strong aspect of our community. An individual who enjoys meeting and talking to people, has. heart for God, and a strong love for competitive gaming will enjoy working here.

Responsibilities:

• Coach FPS titles for our Varsity Esports Team
• Lead, guide and develop good team culture
• Assist Head coach for the program as a whole
• Assist in recruiting and team development
• Create training programs and run practice (Schedule TBD)
• Coach and lead competitions
• Help with broadcasting

Qualifications:

• Associates or bachelors preferred
• Strong understanding of Valorant and other team-based FPS games
• Experience working with an organized team, creating and executing strategies, and helping players develop skills through coaching mechanisms.
• A calling to work with young men / women. This is a ministry with an opportunity to be involved in the gaming industry.

Season Starts this fall, but position can start working earlier to assist with recruiting and program vision. We look forward to reviewing your applications!
