ABOUT SPRING ACADEMY

Spring Academy is a private school in Seattle educating students exclusively through one-to-one instruction. We are a school for students facing obstacles in traditional school settings: anxiety/depression, academic or social challenges. POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Science ( Math) teacher for the 22-23 school year who shares our passion for education tailored to each child and has the requisite expertise and values to contribute to our mission. Our teachers combine one-to-one onsite instruction with a digital curriculum to create customized learning experiences for each student. We serve students in grades 7-12. This position includes:

• 20-30 hours per week
• 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday)
• Personalized schedule 
• $32-$34 per hour, Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401k plan

QUALIFICATIONS

• Instructional experience at the middle or high school level
• Experience working with students with anxiety and learning disabilities
• Skilled at collaborating directly with students in a one-on-one setting
• Flexible and able to adapt to a variety of student skill levels and personalities

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Math, or Education 
• HS Science and Math expertise 
• 3 years of tutoring/teaching experience
