Job Description:

Use specialized equipment to install foam insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, crawl spaces, attics, and other required spaces to provide insulation to spec per code and client requirements. You will work in both residential and commercial buildings and your duties will include using a hose and compressor to spray insulation, prep work, and clean up. You will be required to monitor the amount of material that you spray to ensure proper insulation. Maintaining the equipment on the rig and in the shop and truck is also part of assigned duties, along with other tasks. Some work with fiberglass batts as well as the sprayable foam will be required in this job.

Duties:

Review blueprints and specifications to determine the amount and type of insulation needed.
Measure and cut the insulation to fit into walls and around electrical and piping.
Secure insulation with staples, tape, screws, nail guns, etc.
Use air compressors to spray foam insulation.
Install plastic barriers to protect the insulation from moisture.
Occasional heavy lifting is required.
Constant climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, reaching, and other awkward body positions often throughout the day are required with a free range of motion of your body.
Constantly being on your feet throughout the day is required as well.
Work is outside and can be in extreme temperatures.

Qualifications:

Must be physically fit to withstand physical demands.
Being able to perform mathematical calculations is required to read or understand a tape measure.
Basic reading comprehension skills are required.
Ability to speak and understand basic English.
The requirement to prove the right to work legally within the boundaries of the United States of America.
Drug and Alcohol-Free job sites.
Must have a driver’s license.
Must have own transportation to work.
Ability to show up on time every day and work.
