Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling, inventory management, and general warehouse operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment. Responsibilities: - Perform order picking using a picker or lift truck - Load and unload materials from trucks or containers - Move materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment - Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records - Ensure proper storage and organization of products in the warehouse - Assist in packaging and preparing orders for shipment - Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines - Perform general maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment Experience: - Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred - Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment operation - Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time - Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as hi-lo or forklifts is a plus - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with warehouse equipment If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
