Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Molder to join our team. As a Molder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic molding equipment to produce high-quality products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties: - Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to production specifications - Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed - Inspect finished products for quality and perform basic quality inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and logic controllers - Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area - Assist with materials handling, including loading and unloading materials onto machines - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and ensure efficient workflow - Fabricate molds and perform mold changes as required Qualifications: - Previous experience in plastics injection molding or plastics blow molding preferred - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions - Knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling procedures - Ability to use tools such as calipers, micrometers, and logic controllers for quality inspection - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks - Excellent teamwork and communication skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
