Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled machines to perform precision machining on metal workpieces. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders - Select and install appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and fixtures - Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process - Adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances of finished products - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control - Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating - Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the machining process Experience: - Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines is required - Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments - Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for different machining operations - Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for reading and interpreting blueprints - Understanding of milling machine operations is a plus Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment We offer competitive pay based on experience, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
