Spotless Handyman Services is Hiring an In Home Caregiver Near Amarillo, TX

Looking for reliable, responsible, and compassionate HHAs, CNAs or Caregivers to assist in taking care of seniors Amarillo , TX.

Salary: $16 - $18 per hour

Full-time/Part-Time

Fluent in Spanish is a plus

Preferred Caregiver Certificate: CPR, HHA, CNA

Day shift

At least 1 years of experience with senior care

Responsibilities:

  • Performing light housekeeping duties
  • Following the patient care plan
  • Providing bathing and dressing assistance
  • Toilet assistance
  • Providing Companions
  • Managing medication
  • Preparing meals if needed
  • Transporting clients to and from appointments if required.
  • Communicating with families, and case managers regarding care
  • Assisting with transfer and mobility if needed
  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availabilityDuties:

- Provide childcare and support for children with autism
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, bathing, and dressing
- Administer medication as directed by a nurse or healthcare professional
- Lift and transfer individuals who require assistance
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following resident rights and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment

Qualifications:

- First aid and CPR certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism or special needs
- Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals as required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and related behaviors
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with mobility as needed
- First aid certification is a plus

Requirements:

- Familiarity with medical systems and ability to follow nurse instructions for medication administration
- Experience or training in Autism care or child care is preferred
- First aid certification is a plus
