Staff Accountant

Location: North Liberty, IA

Status: Full-Time 

Schedule: M-F (8a-5p), no weekends required

*After completing training, possibility of hybrid on Thursdays

Reports to: Director of Finance

Core Responsibilities:

• Learn and work within our accounting system, NetSuite. 

• Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
• Assisting with AP management and entering invoices daily.
• Assisting accounts receivable with customer billing.
• Assisting with Accounting period close related tasks.
• Assisting with cash management related tasks and preparing deposits. 
• Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
• Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
• Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.

Skills and Proficiencies:

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft products; ability to work within NetSuite, our accounting system
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
• Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible
• Strong organizational and communication
• High level of integrity and ability to work with confidential information
• Highly detailed and accurate

Job Requirements:

• BBA, with a focus of accounting or finance.
