SportsMED is seeking 2 part-time Patient Access Representatives to join the front desk team at our Madison location. One role has a schedule working Monday-Friday, roughly 11:30a-5p. The other role is Monday-Thursday working 5p-10p for our MRI patients. We are looking to make immediate hires.
Qualified applicants will possess:
- a high school diploma or GED
- at least 2 years of medical practice experience in a clerical, patient-facing role
- a demonstrable understanding of health insurance
- experience reading patient accounts on an EMR and understanding how to determine patient financial responsibility
- experience collecting money from patients at time of service
Ideal applicants will possess all of the above, but 3 years of experience in a medical office setting.
