Starting wage $21 - $23 per hour

Full-time position at 40 hours/week

This position requires physically reporting to work in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Purpose of position:

• Assist the Sports Warehouse Imaging Department in creating clean and consistent imagery. Doing so by photographing product for multiple web-based catalogs and editing images to be posted on the company websites. This role requires someone who is organized and can multitask efficiently. This is a full-time position at 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday located at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Photograph, color correct, mask, shape, and layout imagery according to company standards.
• Assist other photographers in studio and on location when necessary.
• Maintain a professional standard for all product images.
• Communicate with others in a positive manner, behave professionally and stay motivated.

Job Requirements:

• Able to navigate the internet and utilize online resources.
• Able to work with Mac OS X 10.14 or later.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop CC.
• Proficient in Capture One a plus.
• Familiar with Canon camera equipment a plus.
• Able to setup and work with a studio lighting environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Able to focus, maintain attention to detail, and balance multiple duties in a dynamic environment.
• Able to problem solve creatively.
• Able to function as part of a team, having a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to adhere to a consistent schedule.
• Ability to perform tasks in a professional and productive manner

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses computers, a clothing steamer, and at times, handling photography equipment.

The employee is required to communicate with others to exchange information. The employee is frequently required to sit or stand in a stationary position, in addition to occasionally moving about inside the building or on a location shoot. The employee may occasionally need to stoop, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, or climb.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh between 11-20 pounds, and rarely lift and/or move items that weigh between 21-50 pounds.
