Sports Rehab LA is looking for Physical Therapy Aides to join our team in Encino, CA.

We are a highly respected private practice that specializes in orthopedic and physical therapy. We are a team of 30 professionals who work together to provide our patients with the best care possible. We work closely with the patient and their family to ensure that the patient’s goals are met and their comfort level is maximized. Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Aide is responsible for assisting the Physician Doctor in the treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Physician Doctor with various tasks such as but not limited to:
• Checking patients in and out
• Breaking down treatment into goals-oriented goals for each patient and preparing them for exercises that will be performed by the Physical Therapy Doctor or another physical therapist doctor
• Assisting the Physician Doctor with various tasks such as but not limited to:
• Assisting in patient transfers from bed to chair, chair to table, table to floor, etc.
• Assisting in patient dressing changes, including but not limited to undressing, changing into pajamas, bathroom changes, bathroom changes with assistance from a physical therapist doctor or another physical therapist doctor, getting undelivered hair dryers or other dryers used for blow drying hair, getting dressed again with assistance from a physical therapist doctor or another physical therapist doctor, getting dressed again with assistance from a personal trainer or other personal trainer, bathroom changes with assistance from a personal trainer or personal caretaker, showering or bathing changes with assistance from a personal trainer or personal caretaker, etc.

Experience:
The experience requirement is 1 year minimum preferred.
