Sports & Entertainment - LaBella Associates is Hiring a Project Architect/Designer - Sports & Entertainment Near Charlotte, NC

The Sports and Entertainment Practice at LaBella Associates focuses on unique venues for professional and collegiate sports venues. Duties

  • Execute and enhance the design and technical intent through schematic design, design development, construction documentation, specifications, and construction administration for projects of various sizes.
  • Collaborate with team leadership in creating buildings which serve the clients’ needs, are code compliant, and respond to their desired image, space, aesthetic, and budgetary goals.
  • Coordinate with the engineering disciplines and other consultants to ensure a consistent development of the project.
  • Participate in design presentations to the client and other constituents.
  • Supervise and direct small teams of professional and technical support personnel in project situations.
  • Ensure that construction detail documentation conforms to QA/QC and LaBella standards
  • Communicate with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications
  • Responsible for technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project.
  • Develop solutions to design problems.
  • Attend on-site visits, field reviews, and project meetings and documents appropriately. Prepares, coordinates, and reviews the schedules and submission of shop drawings and samples.
  • Responsible for communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements and provide support as necessary.
  • Participate in team meetings to help resolve project issues, coordination with other disciplines, schedule adherence, and technical issues.
