JOB TITLE: Operations and Facilities

REPORTS TO: General Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Sports Academy, LLC (SA) is currently seeking a Part-time to join our team in our Texas location, Sports Academy at the Star. Working for Sports Academy is a fantastic opportunity looking to take their knowledge and skill set to the next level. Sports Academy is an industry leader and holds a very diverse portfolio of work. In this dynamic position, you will work closely with our management team to support the day-to-day operations of the sports complex. Your responsibilities will include performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks, ensuring the facility is clean, safe, well-maintained, and assisting with set up and resetting of space(s). As part of our operations staff, you'll also assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment, supplies, and amenities are in place. During events and tournaments, you'll provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, directing guests, and resolving any facility-related issues promptly. Your organizational skills will be put to use as you help manage inventory and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to contribute to improvement projects, assisting with renovations, upgrades, or facility expansion initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

I. Upholds Sports Academy Standards

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform thorough inspections of all courts, removing any trash, gum, scuff marks, or towels to maintain cleanliness and safety. Unpack and restock shipments for various areas such as retail, cleaning, coffee bar, and vending machines, ensuring adequate supplies are available. Conduct parking lot sweeps, collecting and disposing of all trash to uphold a clean and presentable environment. Responsible for organizing and returning equipment such as balls, cones, nets, and shooting guns to their designated storage areas. Break down boxes and properly dispose of them in the dumpster or recycling. Maintain the sand courts by straightening, cleaning, and raking them regularly to provide a pleasant playing surface. Gather all towels from the towel basket and transfer them to the laundry room for cleaning. Regularly restock vending machines throughout the day and evening, ensuring they are always fully stocked. Ensure court chairs are aligned straight upon arrival and before leaving, providing a neat and organized appearance. Push in all mezzanine chairs to maintain a tidy and accessible space. Vacuum the sand on the turf next to the sand court entrance if necessary, keeping the area clean and free of debris. Vacuum the gray track in the sports performance area, removing any turf pellets or trash if needed. Monitor stock levels in the cleaning supply closet and communicate low supplies to the appropriate person for timely replenishment. Set up a privacy screen on court 5 as instructed, creating a designated area when required. Wipe down bleachers to maintain cleanliness and comfort for spectators. Clean off the turf of equipment and supplies Reset the turf and bringing equipment and supplies back to their original place.

RECOVERY Check in when they have free time - if Recovery gets rowdy, ask if they can assist with helping set people up on NormaTec etc

CLOSING DUTIES Assist the reception in ensuring that all exterior doors are securely locked. Turn off exhaust fans at the sand court and court lights. Put away shooting machines and all equipment from courts, turf, and track. Reset the mezzanine if necessary, ensuring it is neat and organized. Ensure the entire building is free of trash, providing assistance to the housekeeping staff if needed.
