The Security/Parking Supervisor oversees the department officers and supervisors to ensure policy/procedure compliance and enforcement. They will also be the primary contact for Spooky Nook Sports Ohio traffic control and parking policies, procedures, and operations, and will oversee the Traffic Officers at the complex.

NOTE: Because this position will involve routine interaction with children, all candidates must successfully obtain the following clearances PRIOR to beginning employment:

• Ohio BCI
• FBI Fingerprint-based criminal history clearance.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsibly ensure a safe and secure facility for employees and guests
• Assign daily duties to security personnel
• Ensure accuracy of budget and proper cash-handling procedures are maintained throughout events
• Direct the operations and development of the traffic control and parking team
• Assist in developing department policies and procedures
• Problem solve in response to guest complaints
• Monitor event areas for suspicious activity
• All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Previous security or law enforcement experience
• Must have valid 20 Hour (OPOTA) Private Security Firearms Certification.
• Must provide own firearm and duty equipment
• Ability to handle regular duty detail and crisis situations efficiently and effectively
• CPR/First Aid/AED certified
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
• Dependable transportation to and from work
• Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
• Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessary
• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of security leadership experienced or equivalent

• Experience in basic operations of CCTV
