Spokane Metals is looking to add a Structural Steel Estimator to our growing company.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Prepare estimates on new projects and estimate prices on change orders on existing contracts.

-Read and interpret job bid drawings and detailed specifications for preparation of estimates.

-Prepare take off of materials, estimate all necessary labor, materials, buyout items, and equipment costs to prepare a thorough estimate.

-Type up estimates on in-house documents.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Three to five years previous structural steel estimating experience
• Knowledge of structural and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, BlueBeam, Adobe PDF and any estimating software such as Tekla EPM (Fab Suite) is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate with our clients, shop personnel, and other office associates
• Able to focus on details and ability to meet tight deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
