Spokane County is Hiring a Fair Worker 4 - Landscape Grounds (EXTRA HELP) Near Spokane, WA
This is an extra help position (no benefits) working 24 hours per week. Positions allocated to this classification perform semi-skilled/skilled landscaping and general maintenance tasks for the Fair and Exposition Center grounds and facilities. Duties require working with hand-held tools and operating small/light duty power equipment. Work is performed under general supervision.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Performs landscaping tasks including (but not limited to) mowing and watering lawn areas, trimming shrubbery, pulling weeds, etc. Assists with janitorial and general facility maintenance tasks. Assists with post-event cleaning, including the cleaning of livestock areas. May act as lead worker to other extra help staff. Performs other related duties as assigned.
