Position: Project Manager

Location: Fairfax, VA [Travel locally within the State of Virginia]

Citizenship: US Citizens and US Permanent Residents

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in supervising and leading a variety of IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards. Leveraging deep industry knowledge, and ensure that projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management.
• Noteworthy certifications, including but not limited to PMP.
• Demonstrated experience and familiarity with SCADA systems, diversified IT infrastructures, and networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Project Management and Oversight: Supervise the entire project lifecycle, from its inception to its successful closure. Ensure that each stage of the project aligns seamlessly with the set objectives and standards.
• Coordination between SPN and Client Teams: Foster a collaborative environment by ensuring seamless communication and coordination between teams. Serve as the primary liaison, promoting problem-solving and innovation.
• Ensuring Project Milestones are Met: Regularly track the project's progress, guaranteeing that each phase is aligned with the predetermined timelines. Make strategic adjustments as necessary to ensure timeliness and efficacy.
• Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Oversee project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated optimally and unnecessary expenditures are minimized. Maintain a focus on fiscal responsibility and efficiency.
• Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Implement and uphold rigorous quality checks throughout the project duration. Proactively identify potential risks and ensure that both preventative and responsive measures are efficiently in place.
• Team Development and Training: Prioritize continuous learning and professional development. Ensure team members receive regular training and updates on the latest industry trends and best practices to maintain peak performance levels.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent communication channels with all stakeholders, setting clear expectations and cultivating long-lasting partnerships built on trust and mutual respect.
• Stakeholder Education and Training: Organize training sessions for relevant stakeholders, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about SCADA systems' operations, security measures, and best practices.
