Sploot Veterinary Care is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Chicago, IL. With locations in Logan Square, Roscoe Village, and Lincoln Park, we are on a mission to provide the very best veterinary care to the pets of Chicago, by taking care of our team first.

Schedule

Sploot is open from 8am – 8pm, 7 days/week. Our veterinarians work 4 days a week with 10 hour shifts, and NO night shifts - ever. We know scheduling has the potential to be a major headache. At Sploot, we will work with you to find the best cadence for you and your lifestyle.

Qualifications & Job Responsibilities

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, both primary and urgent care, to dogs and cats. Duties will include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, conducting surgical procedures, and providing preventive care. Strong communication skills are essential, for both successful team collaboration, as well as pet parent support!

* You have a DVM / VMD degree with an Illinois State veterinary license in good standing

* You have at least 12-18 months of experience in general medicine and / or surgery

* You’re passionate about providing the best possible pet care, as well as being a part of fostering an actual healthy, supportive environment for the medical and admin team.

* Previous experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and dental procedures is a plus!
