Comunilife Inc. is looking for Maintenance Transport Technicians to assist their facilities team throughout our NYC programs. The Maintenance Transport Technician, under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, will enable the movement of clients throughout the four boroughs for interviews, relocations and other deemed transport requirements for Facilities and Programs. These positions are eligible to participate in Comunilife's generous benefits and paid time off package.
Essential Functions
Transporting clients and staff as per approved Work Orders
When needed transport Comunilife fleet for regulatory servicing
Assist Maintenance staff with the transferring of materials for needed elimination (includes client belongings as well as larger furniture/bedding items.)
Assist Maintenance staff with Turnovers of apartments (cleaning and repair work)
Assist Programs with Pantry Deliveries
Assist Maintenance staff with the pick up of emergency supplies for Programs
Provide emergency transport for staff when indicated based on weather conditions
Provide transport to pick up facility needed items from stores when needed to conclude identified repairs.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirement(s)
High School or GED Equivalent
Must have an exemplary driving history
Must have some driving work experience
Bilingual capabilities a plus
Proficiency in using computer/tablet software
Works effectively as a team member with other members of department and agency leaders.

Our Medical Respite program provides short-term supportive housing and case management services to multiply-challenged patients leaving hospital care without a viable home in which to recuperate. Our Life is Precious Program, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2018, provides non-clinical services to girls ages 12 to 17 in the Bronx (2008), Brooklyn (2009) and Queens (2015).Activities include academic support, creative arts therapies, music lessons, wellness activities and concrete family services, are designed to reduce the risk factors associated with Latina adolescent suicide.
