We are looking for a talented Pet Groomer to join our team. Applicants must be able to perform in a busy, detailed environment and must be reliable.

Requirements:

Two or more years of salon experience. All applicants must be dependable, detail-oriented and willing to train others. We are looking for someone who has ability to perform in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Must be confident in your grooming skills and all bathing tasks and techniques. Our dogs are scissor finished so you will need scissoring skills and have a strong ability to handle all dogs, including puppies and seniors, with patience and compassion.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum of two or more years of professional dog grooming experience required
• Ability to lift and groom dogs up to 50 pounds
• Mastery of all bathing tasks and techniques
• Must be willing to lead, communicate and train others
• Ability to correctly identify breeds, coat types, tools, uses and techniques
• Must be able to perform all grooming procedures, and finish work to company quality and productivity standards
• Daily, weekly and monthly equipment cleaning and salon duties
• Must meet state age requirements to work
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Follow all safety procedures and company's standards of quality
• Function as part of a team on a daily basis
• Ability to use POS computer system

Work Environment:

Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods of time. A large amount of time will be spent in direct contact with the dogs, and the remaining time will be with the other salon team members and store partners. Safety for our pets and our staff is our top priority!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750-$1200 per week depending on skill level
