Spitzer, a recognized industry leader in designing and fabricating high-specification equipment, is currently seeking Helpers to join our team.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Helper Look Like?

• Performs any combination of the following duties to assist workers in welding; such as moving work pieces, tools and supplies, manually or by hand truck.
• Lift, move and hold or clamp work pieces to table, into jigs or into position as directed; manually or by using hoist, pry bars, wrenches, hammer and wedges.
• Clean work pieces to remove impurities such as slag, rust and grease; using wire brush, grinder or hand scraper.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
• Practices good housekeeping skills and properly disposes of waste according to safety and environmental policies.
• Understand and follow safety policies and procedures.

• Must have verbal skills with fluency for the responsibilities assigned.

Work Schedule 

Spitzer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
