T​he Editor is the mid-level position within the Post-Production team, following the designated directives of the Post-Production Supervisor and demonstrated by the Senior Editor(s). Within the Editor position resides the bulk of post-production effort and strength. While working alongside a Creative Lead, the Editor brings a creative voice to the story, b-roll selection, and overall structure and development of the piece in post-production.

• Reports to the Post Production Supervisor
• Collaborates with the Creative Lead to uniquely develop assigned projects
• Acts as the primary or secondary on editing tasks large and small
• Follows project-based client objectives as outlined by the assigned Producer on a project
• Utilizes Spirit Juice equipment efficiently and maintains proper file structure, organization, and procedure throughout operations
• Supports the objectives of the Post Production Supervisor, Creative Director, & VP of Development, furthering the defined mission of the team
• Bolsters their teammates through difficult and stressful projects and time periods
• S​purs their teammates toward healthier teamwork, tribal pride, and company spirit
• May finalize projects, including text, graphics, coloring, and sound mix as requested
• May be required to see an assignment through the finish line (occasionally working weekends and/or long/odd hours when otherwise unavoidable)
• Strives for healthy attitude, work ethic, teamwork, and creative expression
• Practices and demonstrates company values of accountability, clarity, patience, dependability, and excellence in the ordinary
• Reports and raises issues and concerns with the Post Production Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
