Job Title: EMS Supervisor

Spirit EMS has been a cornerstone in providing Emergency and Non-Emergency medical transportation services in Central Indiana for over 12 years. As we aim to expand and become the leading ambulance service provider in Indiana, we are seeking innovative, dedicated professionals to join our growing team.

Position Summary:
The EMS Supervisor is critical in overseeing the daily operations of our ambulance and wheelchair van services. This leadership position ensures the delivery of exceptional care, adherence to health and safety regulations, and the efficient management of resources. The ideal candidate is a proactive, decisive leader with a passion for healthcare and community service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of emergency and non-emergency medical services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, safety, and service standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of EMTs and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, empathy, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with hospitals, healthcare facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and build strong partnerships.
  • Implement and monitor operational protocols and performance metrics to enhance service efficiency, response times, and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage scheduling, vehicle maintenance, and supply inventory to optimize readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and drills to ensure staff competence and preparedness for various medical emergencies.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the growth and expansion of Spirit EMS.
  • Handle incident reports and investigations, ensuring appropriate measures are taken to mitigate risks and improve service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an EMT or Paramedic. Additional certifications in ACLS, PALS, PI, CPR Instructor, etc., are preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven track record of motivating and guiding teams toward excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, healthcare professionals, and the community.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, EMS protocols, and best practices in medical transportation.
  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.

Pay: $42,447.14 - $52,936.34 per year
