Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage a team of engineers and planners with diverse skill sets
• Responsible for executing effective incorporation of change into a production environment while maintaining impeccable configuration control
• Lead the development of new processes and changes in existing processes
• Improve product quality and enable on takt production
• Engage in whether the product can be produced, the quality of the product and the related processes
• Manage the schedule of complex, competing priorities and report on realization to senior management
• Coach and develop the team through effective mentoring

Qualifications

Requirements:

• A full spectrum leader with demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of executive, middle and first-line management, industry peers, and internal and external customers
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, cost, quality, and schedules
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or other related course of study
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Aircraft or Aerospace Manufacturing environment
• Experience managing 12 direct reports
• Knowledge of IE tools used in production i.e.: capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements
• Experience with CATIA/ENOVIA/3dexperience
• Microsoft Office - advanced skill level 
• SAP - advanced knowledge and skillset 
• Strong technical, people and organizational background with a proven history of leadership
• Experience establishing partnerships and relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports and conveying organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of workgroup, project, or process goals
• Experience in identifying opportunities to improve work-related products and processes within own workgroup, project or process and engaging and empowering employees to make process improvements
• Proven ability to be the liaison between the production floor and engineering team
