We’re looking for curious individuals to apply for this role! A competitive candidate will have energy toward problem-solving and process improvement. An ideal candidate will also have some accounting experience from one or more related jobs or internships. 
 
The basics: 
 
Perform basic accounting tasks, such as weekly payroll reconciliations, intracompany transfer entries, or invoicing. 
Execute system support tasks, such as cost center and profit center setup and modification. 
Assist with month, quarter, and year end close duties as needed. 
Participate in compliance initiatives, including documenting and improving existing internal controls. 
 
A day in the life may include… 
 
Collaborating with the global accounting team on resolving complex financial issues, managing projects, and improving month end close processes. 
Researching and resolving intracompany transaction variances. 
Improving documentation of desktop processes. 
Developing and implementing new accounting methods and processes, as well as improvements to automated accounting processes. 
Ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards. 
Qualifications:
Required: 
 
Experience using Microsoft Excel 
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
Must be willing and able to obtain clearance(s) through the US Department of Defense

SAP experience 
General knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements 
DFARS and CAS standards knowledge
