Job Summary:

The Mail Inserter Machine Operator has the responsibility for achieving full production potential, with 100% mail count integrity at their machine for each shift. The Operator works under established operating procedures and under a prescribed set of job specifications. As a member of the production team, the Operator must be able to communicate effectively with others regarding production problems relating to mailing material and equipment.

We are looking for qualified candidates interested 1st (6AM-2PM) or 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) opportunity, either full-time, part-time or weekend hours.

Job Requirements/Experience:

• Proven ability to operate high output inserters to hit daily output goals. This includes machine set-up.
• Prior experience operating Bluecrest/Pitney Bowes Mailstream Direct, Rival or Flowmaster Inserters.
• Strong troubleshooting and machine repair skills.
• Ability to identify malfunctions in machine performance, clear machine jams and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and alert Mail Services Supervisor of any maintenance issues.
• Perform quality checks.
• Maintain stock at workstation.
• Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Proven ability to work cooperatively with other operators, helpers, and supervisors to achieve maximum production capabilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Safely operate a pallet jack to move materials within the warehouse.
• Handle materials and supplies efficiently to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
