What you’ll do: 

The Director of Revenue Cycle Communications analyzes practice management system reports and Power BI reports to identify, solve and provide feedback on issues and variances. We need an independent thinker who has exceptional analytical skills, excellent accounting knowledge, superior communication skills, strong revenue cycle background, proficient use of excel and presentation development software, and is comfortable meeting with physicians and C-Suite level executives.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Analyze accounts receivable related financial data, provide variance explanations and prepare presentation of findings.
  • Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as net collections, AR by category, bucket and payer, days in AR, errors, etc.
  • Oversee preparing presentations, meeting with teams, and presenting to executives and physicians.
  • Provides statistical and financial data to accurately monitor accounts receivable activity on an ongoing basis.
  • Identifies issues regarding significant changes in various accounts receivable categories reflected in the daily dashboards and denial reports.
  • Supports the Revenue Cycle Communications team by monitoring key metrics related to revenue and accelerated cash flow.
  • This position performs high level analysis of accounts receivable and uses considerable judgement to determine solutions to complex problems.
  • Reports, investigates, and assists in resolution of significant revenue cycle metrics variances identified through continuous monitoring reports.
  • The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for assessing key opportunities and assisting with implementing effective revenue cycle solutions.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 years Healthcare Experience
  • 5 years financial analysis; healthcare preferred
  • 5 years preparing and delivering financial results reports and/or presentations.
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and planning concepts essential for analyzing and reporting financial data. 
  • Ability to persuade senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills; Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making
