What you’ll do:
The Clinical Manager will manage the clinical services of the practice. The Clinical Manager provides leadership and patient care services to the patients in a community healthcare setting and works with the healthcare team to provide healthcare services.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Ensures appropriate care delivery, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of processes, systems, and care delivery to customers for quality of care and recommend changes for improvement.
Ensures all clinical support staff understand and demonstrate the highest level of professionalism with patients, physicians and coworkers.
Responsible for the oversight of the Medical Assistant, DME, Triage staff, including day to day operations.
Works closely with the Manager of Operations and Human Resources for employee relations and performance issues, following a guided corrective action process.
Works with the Talent Acquisition team to evaluate candidates and conduct interviews for open positions within the department.
Promotes and coordinates a positive onboarding experience for new employees.
Works with Human Resources on employee offboarding for exiting staff, following assigned policies and procedures.
Responsible for conducting annual performance reviews, including evaluating the work performance of administrative staff.
Development and oversight of Clinical Policy and Procedure protocols for clinical staff.
Oversees the development and maintenance of Annual Employee Physical program,
Develops and oversee a Quality Assurance program.
Provides input and support in developing effective workflows with IT department.
Oversees the training and development of new and existing clinical staff.
Identifies and resolves performance issues and working with the OADC ODE in keeping updated clinical training, protocols and process changes needed for orientation training.
Responsible for scheduling staff appropriately to ensure maximum efficiency. Will resolve all conflicts within the departments and interdepartmentally.
Verifies timecards and missed punches.
Will communicate on a regular basis with other leaders by attending Leadership meetings to maintain smooth office operations and participate in decisions pertaining to the running of the practice.
Demonstrates fiscal responsibility to the practice by continually monitoring resources and using sound judgment in budget management.

Who you are:
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Active RN License in the state of New York
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a clinical department with a strong emphasis on efficiency, employee development and professional conduct.
Prior medical office management experience including substantial physician interaction.
Working knowledge of office equipment and Software
Familiarity with HIPAA, policies, procedures, and other regulatory policies
Medical office procedures, policies, practices and medical terminology, telephone protocol and professional etiquette
Understanding of electronic medical systems
