SpineSearch is seeking a collections supervisor to join a leading orthopedic spine practice based in New York, New York. The ideal candidate is experienced in medical or debt collections, comfortable with heavy volume calls, and has experience with WC/NF cases.

Position is full time, Monday through Friday - offers a competitive salary based on experience, comprehensive benefits, and room for growth.

Requirements of the Medical Collector:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with WC/NF preferred
• Must have 4-5 years of medical collections experience

Responsibilities of the Medical Collector:

• Contact insurance companies about outstanding balances.
• Verify and review billing accuracy.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements.
• Handle insurance claims and disputes.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate debt collection efforts.
• Generate reports for analysis.
• Stay updated on industry regulations.
• Adhere to legal debt collection practices
