Job Description:

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Communicating with billing personnel
• Greeting patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Assisting with patient check-in and check-out procedures
• Managing the appointment calendar
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Assisting the chiropractor with patient therapies and treatments as needed
• Handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and treatment rooms
• Insurance verification and HIPAA compliance
• Processing new patients
• Providing shockwave, decompression, and laser treatments
• Taking payments and scanning documents
• Prior anatomy background is encouraged but not necessary

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays (no more than once per month)
• Must complete Chiropractic Assistant License within 1 year of hire, consisting of 3 weekends of classes and an exam (usually held in the spring)
