Job Summary:
Responsible for performing and coordinating; housekeeping, maintenance and repair of necessary buildings, grounds, and equipment. Responsible for ordering building and equipment supplies for the Fithian House and The Gatehouse operated by the SBAWP. Responsible for safety of the SBAWP facilities and assets, including vehicles and equipment. Support completion and execution of annual and long-term plans and budgets as regards facilities and equipment. Support various events conducted by the SBAWP including transporting equipment and supplies to and from and setting up for such events. Develop and maintain good relations with various building repair/service and supply vendors. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with and support various department managers and leaders in the completion of their duties. Establish and maintain a strong channel of communication with the financial function of the SBAWP. Operate with the safety and wellbeing of those the SBAWP serves. Responsible for all activities pertaining to HUD regulations and compliance..

Qualifications:

• Required:

High school graduate or equivalent

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in use of computer applications

Working knowledge of the HUD regulations

Flexibility in scheduling

Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

FBI fingerprint clearance

Screen and be free of mycobacterium tuberculosis

Act 33/34 Clearances

CPR, first aid & AED certification

Drug screening test

• Desired Skills:

Training and skills in the various trades required to maintain and clean a commercial facility, including but not limited to (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, commercial cleaning and grounds keeping equipment.

Experience in the oversight of a commercial building including but not limited to fire alarm systems, card entry systems, HVAC, laundry systems.

Experience working around people with disabilities.
