Position Overview: As the Production Artist, the ideal candidate will be able to successfully develop custom apparel, t-shirt graphics, and logos; compose proofs for client approval; and separate artwork for print production, to further our mission.

Schedule: The Art Team generally works Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm in the office

Pay: This position is entry level with room for growth. Starting pay is $16-20 / hour, depending on experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY

• Develop custom apparel, t-shirt graphics, and logos
• Compose proofs for client approval
• Separate artwork for print production
• Check test prints before production to ensure Pantone and print accuracy
• Additional responsibilities as directed

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of graphic design experience preferred
• Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED
• Competencies: Strong attention to detail, with great organizational and time-management skills; Proactive and willing to take the initiative with customers and in the design process; Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate and facilitate well; Able to work calmy under pressure in a lean, growth-oriented, team environment and also work independently with limited supervision; Enthusiastic and able to motivate others to make a decision in the design process; Highly accountable and able to hold others accountable too
• Systems: Must have proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop; Knowledge of InDesign and other digitizing software a plus; Must also have working knowledge of Google Workspace or MS Office Suite

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
