Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various physical and manual tasks to support the production process and various tasks related to landscape maintenance and groundskeeping. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Work will be performed under the general direction from the Production Manager.

Duties:
·Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment required for the manufacturing process.

·Operate machinery and equipment under the guidance and supervision of skilled workers.

·Perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.

· Sort, pack, and label finished products according to established guidelines.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, including sweeping, mopping, and removing waste.

· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

· Clean and keep indoor and outdoor areas of buildings, equipment, and grounds maintained.

· Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.

· Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure a neat and well-maintained appearance.

· Prune, trim, and shape trees, shrubs, and hedges according to seasonal requirements.

· Plant and maintain flowerbeds and other landscaped areas including weeding, fertilizing, mulching and watering.

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

· Regularly report any landscaping, irrigation or physical plant concerns or issues to manager.

Education and Experience:
High school degree required plus two or more years proven experience in both lawn maintenance/landscaping and as a general laborer or maintenance assistant preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting, or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

· Must be able effectively and efficiently operate safely and maintain landscaping equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers and plant maintenance equipment, such as sweepers.

·Strong knowledge of lawn maintenance, landscaping gardening techniques, and plant care.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

· Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics.

· Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, requiring heavy physical exertion and lifting and moving objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

· Ability to follow safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment and operate with safety first approach.

· Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of all tasks and responsibilities.

· Must be able to perform mathematical calculations to count, track and report on quantities of parts and materials.

· Abiliity to clarify assigned tasks and expectations and then work independently and as part of a team, to complete assignments.

· Proven ability to consistently perform duties with integrity, effectiveness, efficiency, and highest level of professionalism.

· Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and successfully interact with people at all management and support levels, within and outside the organization.

· Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance along with ability to work occasional overtime and weekends.

· Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time.

· Must possess a valid drivers license with clear motor vehicle record for insurability.

· Knowledge and ability to use a forklift preferred.
