SPI Rentals is a vacation rental company located on South Padre Island, TX. We manage nearly 200 private homes and condos on the island and growing! We are looking for an individual to join our team as a runner for our maintenance department. This is an entry level position who will assist our maintenance technicians and management with tasks.

Duties include but are not limited:

• running errands for the maintenance department and office
• light bulb changes, AC filter changes and other small maintenance tasks
• Spectrum calls
• trash collection
• run items to & from office/shop to maintenance technicians in the field or rental properties
• pick up or drop off items for rental guests
• light grounds keeping around the office (pick up trash, sweep, wash)

Our ideal candidate works well in a team, has a friendly personality and basic customer service skills. They are fast learning and eager to learn more in the maintenance or vacation rental fields.

Applicants must speak fluent English and must have a valid driver's license. Our company has vehicles for our staff to drive, however, you may be asked to drive your own vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Our office is open from 7AM - 11PM, each day, including holidays. Applicants must be able to work between these hours.
