Spherion is Hiring a WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE Near Raleigh, NC
Responsibilities
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in the delivery area and completing the shipping process through UPS/FedEx or truck as needed.
- Perform daily cycle counts as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor.
- Perform visual check of parts being pulled to verify correct parts are being shipped prior to packing material for shipment. Verification is for every lot of material being shipped to ensure the customer does not receive incorrect material.
- Responsible for all areas of preparing orders for shipping.
- Responsible for running the pick and transfer tickets as well as directing work flow so that customers are served as needed when the Warehouse Supervisor is out.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- General housekeeping (cleans equipment and work areas as needed).
