Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join an amazing team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This is a vital role in our manufacturing operations, and we are looking for someone with experience in operating machines and a strong attention to detail.
Duties
- Set up and operate machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic repairs when necessary
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc or CNC machines
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements
- Knowledge of programming languages for machine control and automation (e.g., G-code)
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their functions
- Understanding of quality control principles and practices
- Ability to handle tooling and perform tool changes as required
- Experience with CAM programming is a plus
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques
