Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, your role involves the careful handling and movement of packages and materials within our facilities. Your expertise in operating forklifts will contribute to maintaining an efficient and safe environment. Driving through warehouses, storage areas, and facilities, you'll ensure materials and products are placed correctly for optimal productivity.
Responsibilities:
Your duties include unloading incoming materials, stacking them properly, managing stock movement, identifying damages, and reporting deficiencies. You'll transport raw materials, conduct machinery inspections, and maintain meticulous records of inventory and activities, adhering strictly to company policies and legal guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a forklift operator (minimum 2 years)
Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
Excellent physical condition and coordination
Job Type and Location:
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, contingent upon your experience. Various shifts of 8, 10, and 12 hours are available in Port Allen, LA.
