Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for a Procurement Specialist to review, modify and approve contracts and review and approve requisitions, change orders and issues purchase orders in their Gainesville, FL office. Let's get to work.
Temporary – short term
Gainesville, FL
Schedule: FT, M-F, 8am - 5pm
Salary: $45-65/k DOE

Responsibilities:
- Review and edit vendor provided agreement for compliance
- Liaison between departments and vendors
- Facilitate and develop contracts
- Assist with other methods of solicitation and procurement
- Edit, research and drafts ITB’s
- Solicit and evaluate vendor price quotes
- Additional duties as needed
Skills:
- Excellent math skills preferred
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years procurement experience
- Experience with contracts
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven ability with MS Office Suite
- Previous buying experience- Creative problem solving skills
