Our busy Hospice agency is rapidly growing and we’re seeking an experienced home health aide to assist us in providing superior in-home health care to our clients. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills, and 1-3 years of experience working as an HHA or caregiver. You’ll assist our patients with companionship, basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so that they are empowered to live happily at home. $22 - $24 hourly

• Assist patients in completing personal hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, shaving, etc.
• Mitigate issues with medications by helping to open bottles, organizing self-administered dosing, and arranging for refills, and help the patient with meal preparation and planning
• Ambulate patients as indicated in the care plan, and help patients complete exercises and physical therapy as needed
• Ensure quality companionship and provide psychological and emotional support for patients and family members
• Complete basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, replacing bandages and dressings, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices

• Provide personal care services to terminally ill patients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor and report changes in patient's condition to the hospice care team
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families

• 1-3 years of experience as an HHA/ home health aide, personal caregiver, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency, at patient homes or care facilities settings is needed
• Pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical, and possess current CPR certification and first aid training
• A valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance is required
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required - some college is an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are valuable, as is a compassionate, empathetic, and kind personality

• US Work Authorization
• Previous experience in hospice care preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND CAR INSURANCE/REGISTRATION
