Spero Health is seeking a Counselor Supervisor to join our awesome team in Marietta!

This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment. The Counselor Supervisor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Direct supervision of assigned counselors.
• Provide clinical supervision for assigned Recover Support Specialist Teammates per state/accreditation regulations.
• Partner with Facility Administrator and MD/NP to meet patient’s clinical needs.
• Carrying a limited caseload with a min number of hours of direct care per day.
• Serve as access point for new patient assessments on same day or next day.
• Assist/lead teammates with managing emergent situations with patients (SI, HI, DV, etc.).
• Provide individual support, as needed, including referrals to other resources.
• Coach teammates as necessary in treatment protocols, diagnostic and comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, interpretation, and formulation of service delivery.
• Complete assigned chart audits for documentation compliance at direction of clinical leadership team, provide trainings to clinic teammates as directed. (5% of clinic census) 
• Participates in leading Clinical Review meetings to ensure clinical service goals are met and program and organizational developments are communicated, understood, and implemented.
• Help lead new teammate clinical training.
• Ensure teammates and clinic comply with appropriate state and federal rules and guidelines.
• Report all adverse incidents to the Regional Clinical Manager immediately.
• Help lead improvement in clinic SQI score.
• Promote Spero Health’s Mission to teammates, patients, and the community.
• Act as billing supervisor as needed and appropriately qualified. 

Requirements

EDUCATION: 

• Minimum, Bachelor's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders. Master's Degree in Behavioral Science

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 - 3 years of experience required

LICENSE: 

• LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, LISW-S or LICDC
