Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Road and Building Superintendent with supervising and coordinating activities for the Road and Building Maintenance Department. Under the direction of the Road and Building Superintendent by way of the Spencer Township Board of Trustees; maintain the streets, roads, buildings, and equipment while adhering to and enforcing safety rules and regulations of Spencer Township.

· PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK

· POSSESSION OF A COMMERCIAL DRIVER’S LICENSE (CDL’s)

· COMPLETE A DRUG SCREENING

· EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL ROAD MAINTENANCE

· KNOWLEGEABLE IN OPERATING HEAVY EQUIPMENT

· ABLILITY TO PERFORM HEAVY MANUAL LABOR FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME
