The Role
Our Global Board and CEO Practice seeks a Manager, CEO Services. This leader will focus on will focus on enhancing our CEO Search product and service offerings to deliver exceptional experiences to clients and surpassing the competition's offerings. This involves continuous collaboration with key partners and stakeholders, understanding and anticipating client needs, and defining a distinctive product vision. The success of this role will be measured by the realized value, client satisfaction, increased adoption of product and experience across the firm, and establishment of best practices.
Key Relationships
Reports to: Global Board and CEO Practice Leadership
Other Key Relationships: Regional Board and CEO Practice Leaders, Practice Managers & Teams, Leadership Advisory Solutions Team, Global Marketing & CSS Team, Global Technology & Operations Team
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the needs and pain points of Clients and Candidates in the current market.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, needs, and internal feedback to identify how to differentiate methodology, approach, staffing models, workflow, pricing approaches, work product/ deliverables, technology partnerships or enablement.
  • Set strategic roadmap for our CEO Search offering to enhance client satisfaction and market differentiation with an eye to realistic client and candidate segmentation.
  • Gather, analyze, and apply competitive insights to stay ahead of the market and innovate.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to ensure efficient market delivery and alignment with company vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with IT/technology, advisory solutions, marketing, and CSS teams to ensure cohesive and superior service delivery.
Desired Outcomes
In the first year:
  • Develop an innovative three-year product roadmap for CEO Search
  • deliver at least one new search innovation (e.g., new environmental protocol and supporting methodology and tools) globally
  • Coordinate with our LAS Solutions team to ensure alignment and integration and insight points between our CEO Search and LAS Solutions Roadmaps and offerings
  • Host biannual best practice sharing sessions and develop systems for internal knowledge sharing
  • Initiate (likely automate) consistent communication with each new CEO search to facilitate adoption of best practices.
  • Establish periodic strategic reviews of positioning, methodology, and insights to ensure superior competitive position.
Ideal Experience & Qualifications
  • 10 years of consulting or professional services experience.
  • Significant experience in consulting with relevant audiences such as executive search, HR, governance.
  • Experience working across regions and cultures.
  • Strategy and operational activities/processes experience.
  • Undergraduate degree.

  • Commercial savvy, strategic thinking, creativity, and courage to drive change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills but with an ability to proceed without perfect information.
  • Ability to manage complexity and change effectively; strong project management skills.
