Job Description:
As a Medical Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in the clinic's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently draw specimens from patients throughout the day, adhering strictly to the protocols and standards set by the doctor's office. Your precision and attention to detail will ensure accurate sample collection while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing.
• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of specimens, maintaining proper chain of custody.
• Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns and ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate specimen collection and processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to specimen tracking and record-keeping as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Phlebotomist in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Must pass a background check and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
