Speedway Surgical Specialists is a two OR ambulatory surgery center in Tucson, AZ.

Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition post-surgery
- Administer medications and manage pain relief for patients
- Assist with patient transfers and ensure their comfort and safety
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in the PACU or ER
- Proficient in medication administration and knowledgeable about different types of medications
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
- Experience using electronic health record systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret physician orders accurately
