Position Summary:

Dover Motor Speedway is seeking individuals for our upcoming spring events. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, and outgoing individuals. Positions work well for college students or others looking to make additional income while allowing for flexibility.

The ideal candidate will also be a productive and proactive self-starter who is passionate about his/her duties and willing to put forth the extra effort to achieve excellence.

Qualifications:

• At least 16 years old
• Strong customer service background
• Team player, have a positive attitude, use good judgment, and be professional
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time and work outside in various weather conditions
• Must pass a background check
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends
• Applicants must live within a reasonable driving distance from Dover Motor Speedway

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Security Guard

• Circulate among fans, visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Assist with incident investigations, report findings, make recommendations and take corrective actions as directed
• Responsible for gate control to ensure that only people with proper credentials have access to restricted areas

Ticket Scanner

• Greet guests at entry gates
• Scans guest tickets

Usher

• Assist fans in finding their seat location
• Provides direction and answers to guests who need assistance within the concourse and grandstand seating area
• Helps create a fun, safe, and smoke-free environment for our fans

Information Booth Attendant

• Assists guests with general questions about the facility, their seats and race day activities
• Hands out maps, schedules, and promotional materials
• Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to fans & guests

Parking Attendant

• Direct guest to proper parking lots safely and efficiently
• Direct individuals with special parking passes to proper locations
• Sells parking passes to fans as they enter facility

Campground Ambassador

• Assists guests with general questions about the facility, their campsite and activities
• Hands out maps, schedules, and promotional materials
• Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to fans and guests
• Enforce Campground policies

Campground Parking Attendant

• Direct guest to proper camping lots safely and efficiently
• Direct individuals with special parking passes to proper locations
• Sells camping passes to fans as they enter facility

Maintenance – General Laborer

• Work events and performs various general maintenance duties as needed to make event successful

Ticket Booth Sales Representative

• Sell tickets on Ticketmaster Archtics Systems during event walk-up
• Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service to fans and guests
• Distribute will call and troubleshoot/manage customer expectations when issues arise

Mobile Ticketing Gate Support

• Assist guests with any mobile ticketing issues at venue entrances
