Spectrum is Hiring a Purchasing Coordinator Near Stamford, CT
JOB SCOPEAssists with all aspects of the purchasing process. Reconcile purchase orders to invoices and works to solve discrepancies while maintaining adherence to budget.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconciles invoice and shipment discrepancies and communicate results on issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships in the supplier community including minority vendors and diversity programs to enhance Charter´s reputation in the communities served.
- Oversees purchase orders through all stages.
- Assists with capital budget preparation ensures adherence to budget and other reports as required.
- Complete receipts, as well as manage the Open Receipts reports.
- Communicate with vendors on payment status and other aging requests / payments.
- Additional duties as assigned.
BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum one (1) year's experience in general accounting, purchasing or business planning.
ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Systems
- Strong MS Excel knowledge and skills (pivot tables, V-lookups).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
