As a Billing Assurance Analyst I , you’ll ensure customers are properly billed for their subscribed services. Your efforts will help keep a core part of the company’s daily operations running smoothly.

WHAT OUR BILLING ASSURANCE ANALYSTS I ENJOY MOST

  • Supporting all efforts to ensure accuracy of billing and reduction of billing disputes, including reducing and eliminating errors and performing corrective action as required
  • Maintaining and administering the commercial contracts database
  • Producing and reviewing reconciliation exception reports, reviewing logic, and recommending enhancements
  • Researching and validating customer exceptions using related systems and available resources
  • Communicating issues with customer, sales team, and operating units as necessary
  • Monitoring contracts with special billing arrangements or terms (such as seasonality) to ensure accurate billing
  • Conducting root cause analysis on customer exceptions and recommending and facilitating appropriate process or system improvements

On a given day you’ll address resolution of customer exceptions by reviewing and revising management processes and commercial contracts administration.

You’ll utilize sales entry, tracking, and scanning document retention tools to ensure accurate customer service reporting.

Working in a dynamic office environment, you’ll learn skills transferable to other areas of the company to continue your career growth at Spectrum.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience : Contract review, business analysis, and CSG and / or ICOMS experience
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
  • Technical skills : In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Skills : Knowledge of CSG and ICOMS billing systems
  • Abilities : Analyze and interpret data; understand process flows, interpret service contracts pertaining to customer billing, familiarity with the customer credit process;

maintain professional demeanor in stressful situations

Travel Ability : Limited travel required
