Spectrum Healthcare Resources is Hiring a RN - PACU Near Texas, TX

Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a Potential opening for PACU RN supporting FT. Hood Carl R. Darnell Army Medical Clinic in Killeen, TX.

This position offers:

Job Requirements:

  • Attended accredited Nursing Program, with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s in nursing preferred. 

 As an ASC/PACU registered nurse is required but not limited to:

  • Assist Conscious/moderation sedation
  • Pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative care
  • Recover post-surgical patients including post-cesarean section patients under general anesthesia
  • Administer and support infusion therapy services
  • PACU RN must be currently trained, certified and maintain qualification in CPR and emergency cardiac care as evidenced by successful training and certification in both Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). No on-line certifications will be accepted.
  • Minimum of one (1)-year experience within the last three (3)-years, which includes the care of adults and newborns. The required year of experience shall be specific to the area of service
